ADDRESSING THE HISTORICAL SECURITY COUNCIL

Pete Sickle was the Director of TIMEMUN from 2012-2013, Assistant Director from 2009-2011 and a high school social studies teacher at WBAIS from 2008-2013. Previously, Pete served in the U.S. Department of State as Director of Strategic Communications in the Bureau of Public Affairs and as a Regional Security Officer and Senior Political Advisor on secondment to the OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has held research positions at the Council on Foreign Relations and the RAND Corporation, where he co-authored “Building Moderate Muslim Networks”, and worked on foreign policy and national security in the U.S. Senate. Pete holds a BA from Carleton College, an MA from Georgetown University, an MPP from Harvard Kennedy School and finished doctoral studies in political science at George Washington University as an ABD.
