Meet The Team (2026)

Violet Sanders (Co-Secretary General)

As Violet’s third and final TIMEMUN conference, she wants to make it the best possible one yet. While Violet enjoys debtaing, she also spends her time playing on various sports teams. She loves making new friends, and hopes that MUN can become a home to everyone, just as it has to her. She can’t wait for TIMEMUN 2026!

Sarah Thorne (Co-Secretary General)

This is Sarah’s third year with the MUN club and first year as co-secretary general, after great success in managing the Global Village last year. Sarah mostly enjoys doing creative things in her free time like painting or drawing with her music. She loves how MUN brings people closer together to come to diplomatic solutions and bring hope for peace to the world, and this passion will push her to do her best for the first year as secretary general! Sarah wishes the best of luck and the best time ever to all the delegates at TIMEMUN 26!!

Amelia (Film Producer)

Hi! I’m Amelia and I’m very, very ginger. My favourite things to do outside of school is read, drink my weight in coffee, and hang out friends. At MUN, I… well… I don’t really do much but what I tend to do is be really disruptive, threaten to nuke people (because what else would I do), and bully the other MUN members. Also fun fact about me is I’m secretly a leprechaun and I have a secret pot of gold.

Aki Shavit (USG of Press)

This is Aki’s third and last TIMEMUN, but his first official year in the MUN club. After his great win of “best admin” at TIMEMUN 2025, Aki decided it was time to lend his talents to the club as the USG of press. Outside of his work in press, he spends his time playing guitar and participating in various other clubs around school. Aki hopes to make TIMEMUN 2026 a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved and can’t wait to see you there!

Finnian Thorne (USG of Admins)

This is Finnian’s third TIMEMUN. He is in 8th grade and aims to replicate the success he had in previous years as Best Admin, and USG of Admins. He looks forward to working with everyone to make TIMEMUN 26 a conference to remember

Gil Naor (Assistant Director)

Gil Naor has been the Assistant Director of the MUN club at WBAIS for the past three years. Working in foreign affairs in the U.S. before his teaching career, Gil helps the delegates become familiar with various global issues and develop strong diplomatic skills. Similar to his motto as a wave surfer, which says that there is no one right way to ride a wave, so does his understanding that there are many ways to navigate international diplomacy, negotiations, and policy-making.

Steven Aiello (Advisor)

Steven Aiello has run over 30 MUN conferences and led over 25 delegations abroad, including winning Best Small Delegation at both Yale MUN and YMUN Europe. He is still trying to come up with an MUN basketball committee.

Mel (USG of Social Events)

Hi! My name is Mel and it’s my first year in MUN. I’m helping put together the TIMEMUN social this year. I have many hobbies like soccer, jujitsu, painting, and playing video games! I really enjoy learning and spending quality time with my friends and family. I hope to have a fun time this year and make friends at TIMEMUN 2026!

Celeste (USG of Social Events)

This is Celeste’s first and final year with the MUN club. Other than arguing Celeste enjoys playing soccer, horse riding, and practicing piano. After a great time being admin at TIMEMUN 2024 and finally convincing friends to join her in the club, she became a delegate. Since she loves the social fun part of MUN she is helping organize the social for TIMEMUN 2026 and is super excited to see everyone there!

Lily (USG of Social Events)

This is Lily’s first year as an MUN delegate, and she’s very excited to work with Mel and Celeste to make the TIMEMUN social as fun for everyone as possible. She strives to make the most of the 3 years left she has of high school, and plans to attend MUN for most, if not all of her remaining years as AIS. apart from MUN, Lily loves spending time learning guitar, in her weekly ceramic sessions, watching movies and being with her closest friends. She hopes you have so much fun at TIMEMUN 2026!

Sofia (USG of Global Village)

This is Sofia’s first (and definitely not last) TIMEMUN as a delegate! After a fun time at TIMEMUN 25 as an admin, and much convincing by friends, she decided to become a delegate for the 2025-26 school year. As well as MUN, she enjoys painting, reading and watching television. She hopes to make TIMEMUN and Global Village 2026 the best one yet!!!
